LITTLE SPOKANE RIVER, WA The Inland Northwest Land Conservancy, out of Spokane, Washington, worked with a local landowner to purchase more than 1,000 acres along the Little Spokane River, adding to the 11,000-acre Riverside State Park. A primary focus of the project was the partnership with the Spokane Tribe and restoration of salmon. Keep It Connected secured $200,000 for the project through The Kendeda Fund. Watch video…

FLATHEAD VALLEY, MT The Flathead Land Trust is working with landowners and partners on the Flathead River to Lake Initiative, conserving waterways for bull trout and westslope cutthroat trout, along with big game, grizzly bears, and migratory birds.  Keep It Connected has secured $375,000 for two projects.
